This rise in GHG levels primarily results from burning fossil fuels for energy production and transportation, as well as industrial activities that release CO2, methane, and other pollutants.
The consequences of climate change are manifold and profound:
Biodiversity Loss: Rising temperatures, changing rnfall patterns, and more frequent extreme weather events exacerbate habitat destruction and species extinction rates.
