Continuity Excellence Series - Professional and Master Practitioner Certification Programs

of the webpage on National Continuity Programs NCP established by FEMA to develop comprehensive continuity capabilities across government entities, including federal, state, local, tribal, territorial governments; private sector owners of critical infrastructurekey resources; and non-governmental organizations involved in disaster response.

Target Audience

This series is designed for continuity professionals from diverse backgrounds such as the federal government employees, representatives from statelocaltribalterritorial governments, private-sector leaders responsible for critical assets, and disaster response organizations.

Program Benefits

Enables individuals new to continuity management up to experienced program managers to develop their expertise through a range of courses that cover emergency management, continuity planning, leadership strategies, and instructional techniques. Some courses are offered online through the Emergency Management Institute EMI under FEMA's Indepent Study program.

CES Course Structure

The Continuity Excellence Series encompasses several levels:

  1. Continuity Excellence Series - Level I Professional Practitioner

  2. Continuity Excellence Series - Level II Master Practitioner
